Huang Mengfu

Born in January 1944, of Han ethnic group, native of Shanghai.

Vice-chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee and chairman of All-China Industry and Commerce Federation.

Member of China Democratic National Construction Association (CDNCA), and member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). A senior engineer.

1962-1968: Studied in the Metallurgy Department in the Beijing Iron and Steel Institute, major in iron & metallurgy

1968-1976: Worker, section chief at the Nanjing Iron and Steel Plant in Jiangsu province

1976-1983: Technician, engineer and deputy section chief of Iron Smelting Subplant of the Nanjing Iron and Steel Plant

1983-1988: Deputy director of the Iron Smelting Subplant of the Nanjing Iron and Steel Plant

1988-1992: Deputy director and senior engineer of the Nanjing Iron and Steel Plant
